This award is presented to a Chamber member that embodies the values and attitude of Saskatoon’s go-forward business community and demonstrates excellence across all the areas SABEX honours and recognizes: safety, community investment, Indigenous relations, service, growth and entrepreneurial spirit. Mistahi Mamîchîtowin
Because our business community is situated on Treaty 6 territory and homeland of the Métis nation, we are committed to good relationships with Indigenous people in our city and region. For us, it means fostering and renewing relationships with Indigenous enterprises and integrating Indigenous ways of knowing and collaborating in how we do business.

This award is specially selected by the Family Business Association Saskatoon Board of Directors and presented to a multi-generational family enterprise whose contributions to Saskatoon’s economic growth and quality of life deserve city-wide recognition. Both Sheri and Woody were born at an exceptionally young age. Like grocery carts with wonky wheels, they both travelled through life not knowing where they were going. Luckily, radio found them! “Mornings with Sheri & Woody” wake up Saskatoon with quick-witted banter and their unique take on life weekdays on Rock 102FM.
You’ll catch Sheri at almost every Blade or Rush game, cheering on the home team! She loves that she gets to make her hometown’s drive to work more fun and be a part of Saskatoon’s vibrant events! When Woody’s not in the studio cracking jokes and lighting up your morning, you’ll likely find him hanging with his wife Allana and three kids – family is everything to him!
Sheri and Woody are very excited to be a part of the SABEX Awards this year! They’re pretty sure that hosting an event as legendary as this is a bad idea… but that’s never stopped them before!
