Community Impact
Description
Community-based organizations/businesses that help charities to foster a healthy business climate by contributing to the quality of life in our city. Thanks to the tireless efforts of their volunteers, vital programs and services, and social entrepreneurship, Saskatoon is a better place to live, work and build a business.
This award is presented to a community-based organization/business whose efforts are opening pathways for individuals to grow and thrive, delivering programs and services that are making a difference, and/or leading initiatives that will enhance our quality of life in Saskatoon today and tomorrow. This award is co-presented by a Chamber Board Member and the award’s sponsor.

Description
Businesses play a major role in the life of our city through volunteerism, donations, and sponsorships, in partnership with charities and non-profit organizations, they contribute more than money and time to great causes – they help address our community’s biggest needs and create change for the better.
This award is presented to a business whose donations, sponsorships and/or volunteerism is making a difference in Saskatoon and helping foster a climate where everyone has a chance to grow and succeed.

Small Business Growth
Description
Small businesses play a big role in Saskatoon’s economy. They create good jobs. They contribute to the vibrancy and safety of our neighbourhoods. They provide local goods and services. And, when they grow, we all win.
This award is presented to a small business that has grown its revenue, number of locations, and/or workforce by 15% or more in the last year.
Requirements
- Business or private enterprise with less than 30 employees
- Operating in the Saskatoon region at the time of the awards presentation.

Mistahi Mamîchîtowin
Description
Mistahi Mamîchîtowin is Cree for “great pride in you.” The name of this award was gifted to the Chamber in a special Pipe Ceremony led by an esteemed group of Elders and knowledge keepers in Saskatoon.
This award recognizes a business or non-profit organization that is working to foster economic reconciliation through community investment, business partnerships and/or procurement.

Women Entrepreneurship
Description
When women entrepreneurs start and grow their companies, they do more than create jobs and economic opportunities for others. They also serve as role models, supporting the goals and careers of other women or inspiring them to start their own businesses.
This award is presented to a growing woman-owned business that inspires, empowers, and stands out as an example for others to follow.

- Business that is majority-owned by a woman or women.
- Business has been operating less than 5 years.

Description

Industry Leader of the Year
Description

And, the growth of their own companies is a win for Saskatoon’s economy where local workers, suppliers and other businesses can ride their momentum and grow as well.

Family Business of the Year
Description
Family-owned enterprises are unique in the challenges they face and the contributions they make. Managing both family and business dynamics while meeting the needs of other employees and their families can be tough. But when they get it right, the results are amazing: for the founder who started it, the next generation leading it, and the local community surrounding it.
This award is specially selected by the Family Business Association Saskatoon Board of Directors and presented to a multi-generational family enterprise whose contributions to Saskatoon’s economic growth and quality of life deserve city-wide recognition. The award is adjudicated by the Chamber’s Family Business Council (operating as FBAS) and co-presented by its Chair and the award’s sponsor.
